Pierre Saint-Mezard, PhD, MBA

Chief Scientific Officer & Co-Founder

Dr. Saint-Mezard, PhD, is Chief Scientific Officer & co-founder of Vaderis Therapeutics. He oversees the company’s preclinical and translational strategy, spanning discovery, ADME and toxicology, intellectual property, and preclinical regulatory documentation.

Prior to founding Vaderis, Pierre directed nephrology research at Novartis, where he managed multidisciplinary teams and advanced programs from early discovery through clinical translation.

Pierre holds a PhD in Clinical Immunology and an Executive MBA from HEC Lausanne. He is the author of publications in Nature, Nature Communications, The American Journal of Human Genetics, and The New England Journal of Medicine, as well as holds several patents.
