Darryl Sleep, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Darryl Sleep, MD, is Chief Medical Officer at Vaderis Therapeutics with over 40 years of clinical and biopharmaceutical experience across multiple therapeutic areas.

Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Amgen as Chief Medical Officer and Head of Global Public Health, where he led the Global Medical Organization and advanced portfolio leadership and global health equity initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Darryl held senior medical and R&D leadership roles at Takeda and Abbott. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, and served as Head and Professor of Urology at leading academic hospitals in South Africa.
